Bobbin Glass Bead Pendant

Description

This funky pendant is a vintage steel sewing machine bobbin that I filled with ivory and transparent aqua glass.

To make the pendant, I melted glass rods in the flame of my lampworking torch, and filled the bobbin with the melted glass. I then wrapped some fine silver wire around the glass and put it in the flame again, to melt the wire and create the tiny dots of silver that dance over the glass.

The pendant comes with a 17-18″ 2mm braided leather cord necklace.
