Bobbin Glass Bead Pendant

Description

This funky pendant is a vintage steel sewing machine bobbin that filled with pink and multicolored glass, on top of a lampwork glass bead featuring pink flowers on a green and blue background.

To make the pendant, I melted glass rods in the flame of my lampworking torch, filled the bobbin with the melted glass, then rolled it in some multicolored chunks of glass (called frit). I made the bead with an assortment of lampwork glass, then assembled the pendant with sterling wire and findings.

The pendant comes with a 20″ satin cord necklace.
