China Clock Pendant, Made from a Vintage Silverplate Collector Spoon – K0283

Description

This adorable pendant used to be the handle of a collector spoon! It is silver plated, and features a charming blue and white painted ceramic mantel clock. All of the painting on the ceramic clock is original to the spoon.

To make the pendant, I cut the bowl and handle off the spoon, grind and polish the cut edge smooth and then carefully add a sterling bail and jump ring. Since this is a real vintage item, there may be areas where the plating is worn, a few minor scratches and scuffs, or some minor chipping and crazing of the ceramic. Consider it part of its vintage charm!

A 17″-18″ ribbon/cord necklace is included.
