Enameled Japanese Spoon Handle Pendant

Description

This beautiful pendant used to be an iced tea spoon from Japan! It is silver plated brass, and features an enameled Japanese Pagoda. It measures 1/2 in x 1 in. The style of enameling is called champleve.

To make the pendant, I cut the bowl and most of the handle off the spoon and then grind and polish the cut edge smooth. Since this is a real vintage item, there may be areas where the plating is worn, a few minor scratches and scuffs, or some minor chipping and crazing of the enamel. Consider it part of its vintage charm!

A 17″-18″ 2mm braided leather cord necklace is included.
