Description
These elegant earrings are made from embossed sterling ferrules that were part of two butter knife handles, and are accented with freshwater pearls. The ear wires and all other findings are sterling.
Ferrules in flatware are mostly used to hide the join between the utensil itself and the material of the handle. Most of the time you will see decorative ferrules like these on flatware pieces that have mother-of-pearl or bone handles. They cover the join and provide a beautiful design component as well.
Since these are real, vintage items, there may be a few minor scratches and scuffs. Consider it part of their vintage charm!
Hypoallergenic ear wires are available upon request at no extra charge. Convo me if you need posts or clip-ons!
